Future Music Issue 233 DVD - November 2010
English | PDF + DVD | 132 pages | 38 MB + 3.27 GB
There are many important lessons in life. First comes walking and talking and the correct use of a bathroom. And soon after that theres the realisation that yes, your track does need mastering. Sending your track into the world without it first enduring the mastering process is like heading into battle in smoking jacket and slippers. You can do it, sure, but… Well, best not. Which is why our Master Like Abbey Road feature on page 36 politely and insistently demands that you take heed. Which of the three paths to glory outlined in the feature you pick is up to you, but we think your music is going to sound better because of it.
Elsewhere in the issue weve a trio of famous names letting us into their studios, or access to their live rigs. Theres the legend that is John Foxx giving you a guided tour of his all analogue kit. Weve Electronica genius Trentemшller showing us his studio. And weve star producer Starsmith showing us the studio flat thats played host to hits by Ellie Goulding, Kylie and many more. Dont miss the videos on the DVD.
