FlowFit I - a sequence that builds on a series of gradually i

- As a warm-up before martial arts or yoga classes for a good warm-up
As an independent practice with a lack of time
- And even to cool in the final phase of training.
Improves the speed of adaptation and physiological reactions to stress.Requires no special equipment except a chair or stool. The first sequence is designed for beginners.
FlowFit is a 4-Phase, incrementally-progressing multi-movement chain from Prasara Body-Flow Yoga, uniquely constructed based upon Scott Sonnon's years of championship coaching and competing at an international level in multiple sports. He learned that to be successful, not just in the short-term of an event, but in the long-term of life, you need to address every angle of the human motor condition, called:
The Six Degrees of Freedom:
* Heaving: moving up and down;
* Swaying: moving left and right;
* Surging: moving forward and back;
* Pitching: tilting up and down;
* Yawing: turning left and right;
* Rolling: tilting side to side.
Flow Fit II - is not a new level of complexity compared with the previous four consecutive Flow Fit I, and new exercises that extend the range of motion, which were used in the first program.
The new program focuses on how to properly fall, on the ability to turn the fall into an ally and skillfully apply the art of any form of martial arts. In fact, all the proposed exercises are useful in any kind of sport, gymnastics, athletics, fitness, dance and yoga, as taught literate and collapsible smooth transition from horizontal to vertical position (lying on your back, stomach or side) and back. Purpose of the activity - to use the body as an elastic structure (how it should be if the body is healthy and trained) for which the floor (ground) - is not a threat, which wants to soften and relax, and just another element that can be used as lever and the resistance to achieve the goals.
Exercise is very thought out and clearly explained in detail. They are useful not only soldiers, but also to all those in their sport or physical education classes only uses his own body weight.
Warns Scott Sannon, all movements which he shows, are contrary to the falls with the insurance, who are trained and accustomed to which those who practice various forms of martial arts. However, the thing that falls with the insurance designed for the mats, and fall to the pavement, according to Sannona require completely different approaches and techniques.
FlowFit II is about going from standing on your feet to lying on your back, front, or side, and back again, smoothly and without hurting yourself. A simple goal, with a sophisticated methodology. Rather than the traditional breakfalls, the aim is to use your entire body like the elastic structure that it is (can be, should be for someone in normal health), so rather than viewing the ground as a threat to be mitigated, the ground is just another element that can be used for leverage and resistance.
The exercise flow is well thought out and better instructed than the previous FlowFit, and is more directly usable. This is about falling, a thing we do, even people who are not training for UFC or combat, a skill that anyone can use. And the instruction is well structured and clear, and doesn't dwell on fighting or Scott Sonnon's background (unlike other videos where the instructor's ego interferes with the quality of instruction). With minimal material and space requirements, this is a great addition to a fitness program for someone on a budget or who pursues a bodyweight fitness program for whatever reason. Scott Sonnon has managed to "mimic" the exact six degrees of freedom in FF2 as expressed in FF1, but in a very different way. Flowfit 2 is all about engaging the ground. This is not only relevant to martial artists or wrestlers who fall down a lot but to anyone who wants to befriend the ground that they stand on. In fact Flowfit 2 brings to mind the freedom of movement we all enjoyed when we were kids (in my case this meant falling down and rolling a lot).
The DVD starts (like Flowfit 1) with an introduction to the concept of intuitive training and Scott does an even better job in this second iteration of explaining this concept in such a way that anyone interested in physical wellness can get something from his explanation.
